One Piece: Oda Officially Confirms The Power Level Of The Straw Hat Pirates

One Piece's Final Saga has seen the Straw Hat Pirates get closer than ever before to their goals. Their journeys began when they were weak, with lofty ambitions in their hearts, but now, their goals are finally within reach. The Straw Hat Pirates are stronger than ever before, and they have ever ever-growing hunger that will only keep on making them stronger.

In the Final Saga of One Piece, Oda has done well to show the Straw Hat Pirates as a Yonko crew. When they first gained this title, fans doubted whether they were truly deserving of the title or not, but based on their recent showings, it goes without saying that they are truly on the level of a Yonko crew, if not higher.

The Straw Hat Pirates Are On The Power Level Of A Yonko Crew

Luffy Is One Of The Strongest Pirates Alive Right Now

The Straw Hat Pirates were officially declared as a Yonko crew after the events of the Wano Country arc, where Luffy and the Straw Hats joined forces with the likes of the Samurai of Wano, as well as some other pirates, and eventually defeated the alliance of Kaido and Big Mom. Luffy personally saw to it that Kaido was defeated, and this meant that he was given the title of a Yonko. The Straw Hat Pirates themselves also showed great growth there and did their fair share of the heavy lifting in this battle.

Right now, in the Final Saga, Luffy is already strong enough to fight and defeat Yonko. But, what's crazier is that he is going to get a new Haki-related power-up soon, as confirmed by Oda himself. Luffy will learn to bypass immortality. This should put him on the same level as the likes of Shanks.

Similarly, Zoro and Sanji are also going to grow further in the battle against the Holy Knights and Imu. Sanji and Zoro have already beaten Queen and King respectively, and that already makes them Yonko commander level, but they are going to go much higher in the Final Saga. They themselves are aiming to reach levels similar to Rayleigh and Gaban, which would make them Yonko-level themselves. But, right now, they're still stronger than Yonko Commanders, at the very least. Jinbe is also very impressive, known to be strong enough to fight monsters with bounties of over a billion berries. Robin, meanwhile, has consistently been improving, and recently, she even fought and did well against Saint Sommers.

Some Weak Members Of The Crew Need Growth

There are some weak members of the crew that need to do better, but most of the crew, specifically Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Jinbe, Robin, Franky, and Brook, are good enough to be a part of a Yonko crew. Usopp, Nami, and Chopper are the only weak ones, and even they are getting considerably better. Usopp is bound to get a power-up in Elbaf, while Nami already has Zeus, but needs to do better elsewhere.

Finally, Chopper is also improving, as seen in Wano with his improved Rumble Ball, and in the Elbaf arc, he'll likely get stronger. The overall power level of the Straw Hat Pirates is actually already greater than the Beast Pirates and the Big Mom Pirates, as far as the main 10 crewmates are concerned, and that's where they stand currently.

One Piece Chapter 1159 will be out this week. As usual, One Piece is going to drop on Sunday. In Japan, One Piece drops at 12AM JST on Monday.
